Our Mission
Welcome to the Hellenic Hope Center, where we are committed to offering comprehensive support and services to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for those we serve, ensuring that individuals with special needs receive the respect, care, and dignity they deserve. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment where every person is valued and empowered to live their best life.
Our History
The idea for our organization was born in February 1999, when a group of mothers of Hellenic descent, each with children with special needs, gathered to discuss the urgent need for a support system for themselves, their children, and their families.
The concept resonated with many other families, leading to the formalization of our organization. In June 2000, we were officially incorporated as a non-profit corporation. Since then, our members have met regularly to assess and refine our programs and services, ensuring they continue to meet the evolving needs of the community we serve.
Donations play a very important role at the
Hellenic Hope Center.
We rely on them for the operation and expansion of our facilities and our programs.
